The black cat versus the Christmas tree, in three acts
Three coordinated prints, one cream, pink and pine palette, one very relaxed black cat.
Why the tree is on the floor
Every cat person has the photo: the perfect tree, then the same tree an hour later. This set turns that before and after into a three-beat story drawn in clean storybook lines, with chunky hand lettering and one black cat with golden eyes in warm cream, blush pink, deep pine and raspberry.
The Before and After Trio stands politely by the tree, gives it a very big hug and then lounges on what is left of it. Funny first, festive second, black cat all the way through.
Three prints, one timeline
Before the Cat
The calm on warm cream, a neat tree with a gold star and the black cat standing beside it.
During the Cat
The hug on blush pink, up on its hind legs with both paws wrapped around the tree.
After the Cat
The aftermath on deep pine, sprawled on a fallen bough, golden eyes peeking out.
Story wall done by the weekend
