The black cat who keeps the house like a tomte
Three coordinated prints, one barn red and cream palette, one very proud little gnome.
Why the cat wears the pointed hat
In Scandinavian folklore the tomte is the small, quiet keeper of the house who watches over everyone through the long winter nights. Anyone who lives with a black cat knows that job is already taken. This set brings that Nordic Christmas to the walls with bold rounded folk lettering and one round black cat with golden eyes in barn red, warm cream, forest green and pale linen.
The Little Tomte Trio poses in the pointed hat, naps in a loaf beside a Dala horse and carries a gift on its back. Folk first, funny second, black cat all the way through.
